Spanish has a variety in swearing and a flexibility that I miss in English

I mean yeah sure you can say ”fuck you asshole” to that driver who just cut you but isn’t that a bit lacking in spice when you can lower your window and shout I SHIT ON YOUR DEAD ANCESTORS YOU MALE GOAT SON OF A WHORE (me cago en tus muertos cabrón hijo de puta)

One son who doesn’t want the throne, another who wanted it too much. Is this to be my legacy?
Loki died with honour. I shall try to live the same. Let that be your legacy.

EVERY TIME SOMEONE BRINGS UP THE LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA I GET SO ANGRY.

but why

Because it got burned. All of that knowledge, lost forever.

The library was destroyed over 1000’s of years ago. The library consisted of thousands of scrolls and books about mathematics, engineering, physiology, geography, blueprints, medicine, plays, & important scriptures. Thinkers from all over the Mediterranean used to come to Alexandria to study. Most of the major work of civilization up until that point was lost. If the library still survived till this day, society may have been more advanced and we would sure know more about the ancient world.

It’s always about, somehow, finding a part of myself that is relevant, and then turning the volume up on that particular part. So, I am all of the characters I’ve ever played, and I am none of them at the same time.” — Tom Hiddleston

Kristen: Strong female characters need to remain female, or else it’s just like, what’s the point?… (x)

I fucking love you

I like how earlier she mentions that women aren’t necessarily built to be strong, because it doesn’t exclude those who prefer to behave in ways that emphasize physical strength
